How should a clinic prepare for a 360 shoot?
Book the shoot for low-footfall hours, deep-clean waiting and treatment rooms the evening before, hide bins, wires, personal items and medicine brand clutter, set beds and chairs as for a VIP patient, switch all lights on with matching colour temperature, brief staff on uniforms and positions, and keep one decision-maker present to approve each panorama point. The camera captures 360 degrees – every corner behind the photographer is in frame too.
How should a salon prepare differently?
Salons add: mirrors spotless (every smudge is magnified in panoramas), stations styled with fresh towels and tools arranged, retail shelves fronted and dusted, wash area mopped and dry, and ideally one model or staff member posed mid-service at one station for life. Schedule around appointments with 15-minute buffers – a walk-in mid-panorama means reshooting the point. What should staff and customers do during the shoot?
Staff stand at natural posts (reception, station) and stay still during each capture; customers are politely paused from walking through active panorama points for 60 seconds at a time. Inform customers a Maps shoot is in progress – most enjoy it; the rare objector is simply kept out of frame.
